Description:

Shadow Careers is an impact-sourcing initiative, and we seek to create careers for those who have not had previous meaningful full-time employment experience. Therefore, we will only consider applications that meet this requirement.

Our 3-month career-specific program will enable you to benefit from an actual career in the BPO (Contact Centre) world. Careers are waiting for every successful candidate who completes our Shadow program. During the program, you will be paid a monthly stipend.

Requirements:

  • Matriculated.
  • 18 – 35 years old.
  • Currently unemployed.
  • Not studying full-time and not planning to study full-time shortly.
  • No prior call center work experience
  • In possession of a South African identity document.
  • Must be available to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • No previous meaningful full-time employment experience.

NB: Must submit a voice recording to be shortlisted.

One of the following must apply to you:

1) Someone in the household receives a social grant; OR

2) You receive a child grant on behalf of one or more children; OR

3) No one in your household earns more than R6000 per month; OR 

4) You attended a school in quintile 1, 2, or 3.
