Programme Description:

Youth participants will facilitate early learning playgroups and literacy-based activities at ECD (Early Childhood Development) centres. Through storytelling, games, music, and hands-on learning, participants will help stimulate the development of young children and contribute to building strong educational foundations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and lead interactive learning-through-play activities
  • Read stories and conduct early literacy activities
  • Support the cognitive, emotional, and physical development of young children
  • Collaborate with ECD staff to enrich early education

Requirements:

  • Age: 18 – 35 years old
  • Must be unemployed
  • Must have no criminal record
  • Must live in or near the site and have an in-depth understanding of the community
  • Must have an interest in working with young children and in youth development programmes
  • Interest in planning and implementing peer-based activities for young people
  • Willing to undergo child safeguarding vetting
